When you put on a cheerleading uniform, you are not representing any particular team. You are representing the belief that you hold on so tightly to.

We've been given written approval by CAS Vice-President Zhaoming to use the two stunts mentioned in my previous post.
-elegant you are going to dieeee. muahahhahah !

Greetings to all.
I would just like to clarify with CAS some of the rules as per your previous email.
20.6) When a top person moves to a flat body position (Example: prone position, layout position or
on side) the stunt must originate from prep level or lower and the top person must be caught
by at least 4 catchers. Physical contact must be maintained with an original base. If the
weight of the top person does not remain within the vertical axis of one stunt, 4 additional
stationary catchers who are not original bases are required.
Qn: Are we allowed to use a toe pitch to Swedish fall with 3 bases? (read:bases excluding those doing shoulder stands)
Specific reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTZJq1p9DyM @ timeline 1.00min
And
17.4) Top person dismounting from 3rd layer pyramids with a gymnastic skill (meaning: twist,
somersault, toe touch etc.) must be caught in a cradle by at least two catchers.
19.1). Landing
Landing on the ground other than the feet is prohibited.
Qn: Are we allowed to do a 'cartwheel dismount' (pardon my terminology) from gladiator? The top will eventually land on her feet only.
Specific reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-br1jsykHI @timeline 2.00min
Wildcards will respect the decision of the CAS organising committee.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Cheers and Regards,

It seems like cheerleading competitions are happening everywhere! But then, this is the big season.
My new training program - The Mental Game of Cheerleading: Training for Competitions will be available very soon but until then, here’s a visualization that can be very powerful to do just prior to your performance.
Follow these steps:
1. If possible, find a quiet spot where you can sit upright with your eyes closed.
2. If this is impossible, simply close your eyes to block out all the distractions around you.
3. With your eyes closed, exhale slowly three times.
4. Repeat and say to yourself, with each out-breath I am relaxing more and more.
5. Now, with your mind’s eye, see yourself sitting alone in the audience, looking at the empty stage or performance space.
6. As you look at the empty performance space, you see someone you admire, someone who has been very important to your development as a cheerleader, come on the stage. This person stands on the stage.
7. Now someone else who has been important to you, a person who has been supportive of your desire to be a fantastic cheerleader, also comes on the stage and stands next to the first person.
8. And now a third person, also someone who you know cares about you and is rooting for your success, enters the performance area and stands next to the other people.
9. If there are more people you can think of who have helped you or whom you admire and respect for their competence and expertise (even if you don’t know them), visualize them coming on the stage, too.
10. Once everyone is on the stage, see them smiling with encouragement at you.
11. Now you come onto the performance space and embrace everyone there, taking in their good wishes and support.
12. After you have done this, the people leave the stage and leave you there alone but you know you are really not alone since you have taken in their support, their wisdom, and their expertise; you have soaked it up and you feel great!
13. You see yourself standing tall on the stage, confident, poised, and eager to perform.
I hope you will give this a try. And if you do, please let me know how it works.
Found this might be quite useful. Some website I surfed.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of *The Universe.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of *The Universe that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
*Edited by Chaang --> The Universe can be anything that is spirtually enlightening to you. No specific reference in particular.

Whenever I feel like I want to get a little lighter (usually because my jeans are feeling a little tighter), I work intervals into my routine.
Intervals are one of the fastest ways around to shed fat. Women who spent 20 minutes mixing sprints with jogging lost three times the fat off their legs and butt in 15 weeks than those jogging steadily for 40 minutes, a study from the University of New South Wales in Sydney finds. Burn triple the fat in half the time? Bring it on!
To try intervals, do this speedy slimming routine up to six days a week. Pair it with your toning session or do it solo, for results guaranteed to amaze you.
Hop on any cardio machine you like for the time allotted and the exertion level noted (1 is the easiest and 10 is next to impossible).
Warm up for 4 minutes at a level 3.
Sprint for 30 seconds at a level 7.
Recover for 90 seconds at a level 4.
Sprint for 30 seconds at a level 8.

A Dog Named Faith
This is a story about a dog who was born on Christmas Eve in 2002.

He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which needed to be amputated.
He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.
He was rejected and scorned.
His first owner also did not think that he could survive. Therefore, he was thinking of putting him to sleep.
At this time, his present owner Jude Stringfellow came into his life and wanted to take care of him.
She was determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. She thought, all we need is a little faith.
Therefore she named him 'Faith.'

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surf board to let him feel the movements of the water. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and to reward him for standing up and jumping around. Even the other dogs at home helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, after only 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he can now walk like a human being.

Faith loves to walk around now.
No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him. He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared in various newspapers and TV shows. There is even one book entitled 'With a little faith' being published about him.

He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies.

His present owner Jude Stringfellow has given up her teaching job and plans to take him around the world to preach,
'that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul.'
