SEVENTEEN Magazine summer challenge :D

S-E-V-E-N-T-double E-N, seventeen:D

yay the seventeen competition on saturday was a rather awesome experience for those near seventeen as well as those quite a little little bit above seventeen (like regine).
and we survived the super hot afternoon sun and a competition without mats and i'll just assume(since he made me blog this) that chaang's quite proud of us, so yay :)

look at how happy the girls are:D cause we had goodie bags, makeup, sunblock, yummy YAMI yoghurt :) [stupid nellie come and block our photo:/]
and some of the guys (e.g. chaang, gary, zhiliang) are quite happy too i think, looking at the hot babe(s) playing beach volley -_-

and big gary is obviously happily trying on the shirts we got! look at how pretty he looks :D

and some random pics of retarded people in our team (which obviously obviously excludes me:D )

mass cupie :DD (ANDRA, you're damnnn cool! even though you say im the most buay gam flyer :( )

and look at this super duper cool photo. quick say im a super duper cool photographer:DDD yay i agree!!
(in photo: andra n justine)

and time for results!! :) yay we won:D & regine demostrated her amazing lightning speed sprinting by being the first to run up the stage to receive our prize!! (and we havent seen her run so fast in routines before :0 )

but fantastic crew did a great job as well:) and we liked their dance:))

and congrats to candy and huishan for making so much improvements and doing verryyyy well :DDD

but the main highlight of the day is still the live demostration of how to use VEET's wax strip. and i think ochi would greatly recommend veet to all hairy people/rambutans for its amazing hair removing ability!!!

but please refrain from talking about waxing/veet/hair removal in front of him cause he might faint on the spot.

video's uploading in process!

video: (not recommended for kids under 12, highly recommended for sadists like vincent, *look at how happy vincent is with waxing ochi -_-)

yay and we cant wait for the kentucky workshop:)) take care everyone! :)
all other photos will be uploaded on facebook!

A worthy cause

Meet the HIV Champions. Bloggers who tell stories from every point of view, from every corner of the globe.

2009-02-01 by MIIA LANKINEN [Singapore]

World AIDS Day on 1 December is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. In Singapore, 20 HIV Champions commemorated this day by volunteering at the Patient Care Centre (PCC). Started in 1997, PCC is a sheltered workplace and day-care for patients with HIV where they learn useful skills that will help them reintegrate to society or workforce. It was a great community effort by our Champions who helped with the packing of the food rations meant for the monthly distributions to over 100 low income families infected with HIV. Other Champions got creative and worked hand-in-hand with the patients to create handicrafts, greeting cards and jewelry pieces. The proceeds from these handicrafts will benefit the PCC. Miia Lankinen, Leading Country HIV Champion, said. "We all can make a difference in the fight against HIV. As Champions, we help to raise awareness on HIV and AIDS by conducting education sessions to the community. But this outing is extra special, as it is a great show of support for people living with HIV."

BU ALL Stunts UP

HERE'S MY FAVOURITE TEAM:)

During the kentucky workshop, its not just about partner stunts. Training for Group stunts helps in your momentum which you will need when pitching. and btossing. basically everything else. AND START DANCING.

SO WORK IT!!!

BIXIE COLLECTION

Hi all, in view of the bad economy and bad spells, I've decided to dig out all amulets, pictures etc to ward off evil.
Apparently Guan Yin Ma, Guan Gong, Jesus etc are not in vogue. Lets look @ the shortlisted candidates from wildcards. :)

Ever seen Sun Wukong's daughter??

In need of cash? Here's Hei1 bai2 Wu2 chang2/ Yi jian fa cai

Seen Sadako
???

And the Winning pose/ look: Kuan Gong UPSIZED~!

Here's the last one: Mother Mary needs her halo/ meets Minah needs her hair permed.

In case u dunno who's the devil in wildcards, its not chaang. Its me.
I so love to caption ur fotos.:)

GYMNASTIC TRAINING ON FRIDAY 5TH JUNE

gymnastics training is resumed this friday, please send

me your attendance by sms.

Vincent is pissed.

Hi guys (and girls)

A spat of things have happened recently. Administrative/ Training/ Operations.
While it is joyous that the team finally clinched the top spot in SKM, please keep your feet on the ground, and re-evaluate your strength and weakness in the team.

Chaang and I will not spare laggards in the team. Those who went for the exchange @ potong pasir would have heard some of my expectations. Neither do we tolerate indian chiefs and smart alecs.

As we are a social team, the coaches and committee can only advise and nag @ you to improve on your strength. Please take initiative and motivate each other to ^&#%$#@ train on your MUSCLES.

Your current progression is WAY TOO SLOW FOR MY PATIENCE. Catch up or get left behind.
Or maybe, only then u guys will *&%*&%*& wake up.

Chaang & I will revamp the training program. Till then, stay alive and fit, and dun kill each other.
Cheerios.

Vince
Jumbo Seafood @ Demsey this Sat!

Hi All!

Wildcards @ SKM Finals 2009- Ngee Ann Civic Plaza

Day 2 Video
Video credits: market2garden

CR's comments:

-Kudos to nellie and kahau for doing their lib despite the first miss.
-Kudos to Huishan's fast reaction to prevent a stunt miss during the toss gladiator.
-Kudos to Huishan again for doing a decent basket toe touch despite your ankle injury.
-Kudos to nellie again for finishing the front tuck despite your bases miss during the backtuck transition.
-And kudos to retarded ting who came out with the Barney idea -.-

Overall evaluation:

We still have a lot of room for improvement. We are not as neat compared to cheerobics and we still have a lot of cleaning up to do.
Nonetheless, please enjoy your short break.

The real training starts now.
