Cheerleading for external events is unlike doing cheerleading for competitions.
Reason: The events person will tell you one story and you will always end up seeing another thing.
Wildcards very first external assignment was a performance for 88.3FM last sat @ Hereen. To our dismay, our supposed (8m x 5m + 7m height clearance ) stage turned out to be Hereen's stage ( formerly where the fountain was ). If this wasn't bad enough, there were many decorations hanging down from the top level ! We had to change the entire routine in 15 min, taking away all basket tosses, fliping motions and gymnastics.
---> Pls wait for jiahui to upload the video.
I swear doing this assignment was a real test of everybody's skill. Toss up hands had to be really STRAIGHT. No room for adjustment. Fall forwards or backwards you will end up hitting the decorations. Fall side ways and you end up falling off the stage.
Notice how the 5 single X's were positioned in such a way that it fitted nicely between the decorations hanging from above.
And because of all the hanging obstacles, the 221 had to be placed right at the edge of the stage.
Ok now for everybody's favourite time ..
Introducing newly promoted mid-tier huishan ! (right shoulder stand) Huishan's first attempt as a mid-tier for this stunt was actually on performance day itself ! Good job !

Welcome Isaac + Justine ! Also new lib club member.
It is everybody's effort that our first external performance was so successful. Despite having to juggle work/school/army schedules , despite having to wake up early in the morning to rehearse, despite having only one day to train for the performance.
So long as everybody is focused ..

And work towards a common goal..
The satisfaction of seeing how your efforts pay off is always indescribable
Special kudos to huishan who managed to achieve her stable toss to hands on the day of the performance itself. It can be really scary doing an unfamiliar stunt in front of a huge audience, esp when you can fall off the stage anytime. Wildcards appreciate your presence and efforts. We will grow together as a team. =)
Good job ppl ! All stunts up !
