Harry's 1st post

Hello Cards! It’s harry’s first blog post! Hee.

It has been one year and four days since I scammed myself into Wildcards (whereas tradition is having chaang scam you in, but unfortunately I am not a hottie >.<)

Thank you everyone…for accepting this old man who last cheered during Cheerobics 2006 and has piled on 10kg since…for giving me an opportunity to cheer with the best…for giving me the right to say WE ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

You have shown to me that Impossible is Nothing.

Thank you to all the flyers who had to put up with my buay kan-ness (I think I made Jaslyn worry a lot about our ‘favourite’ stunt haha. For the record, I think Jaslyn is slim and slender and light years from being fat and she can eat as much as she wants!).

Thank you to all the bases for your selfless sharing and teaching. You are the toughest guys I have met. And of course, big thanks to chaang and his comm for even giving me the chance to join this family.

Here’s one of my all-time favourite songs, Graduation by Vitamin C. The lyrics are meaningful, and it’s hard not to shed a tear or two if you hear it during your actual graduation...with your friends around you and all. With the championship past us, I guess it will be a ‘graduation’ of sorts for some of us.

But it is not goodbye.

For once a Wildcard, always a Wildcard. You can count on that =)

May Wildcards continue to scale greater heights and spread the spirit of cheer. I look forward to it!
