Making your money's worth for gymnastics classes

Hi all,

We will be starting on a new gymnastics program that will train once a week.

Location: Jurong West. Full gymnastics facilities
Fees: should be less than $25 per head (we need min 10pax to start a class)
Frequency: Every Friday of the week (once a week)

We have found a professional certified gymnastics coach to oversee this program. I know this coach personally and I am confident that he can produce results.

FAQ: But paying $100/mth is very heavy on my wallet leh. How about just going twice a month? Then it will be only $50/mth?

Let us consider these two scenerios:

Scenerio 1: Money spent: $25 x 2(twice a month) x 12(1 year) = $600/yr

You spend $600 a year. $50 per month. But if you go twice a month for one year and are still unable to do a decent backtuck, or a decent round off back hands spring for example; you would have wasted your money and time. We have all experienced this last season. We made gymnastics classes optional, and the results were not good. Most of our members who paid to go for pay-as-you-use gymnastics classes still cannot tumble.

Remember: Paying for classes that do not give you results is not a sacrifice. It is a waste!

Scenerio 2: Money spent: $25 x 4(once a wk) x 6(mths) = $600 in 6 mths

If you were go once a week consistantly for 6mths, you might be able to learn useful skills and execute decent passes. Once you have learnt the necessary skills, you will be able to practice during your own trainings!

And the fact is: The amount of money spent would have been the same! Personally, I am confident that option 2 is definitely better than option 1.

Let us not forget that you might not necessarily train for one year. With Nationals in March next year, you might be able to commit to gymnastics classes till Jan next year at most. Coincidentally, also a 6mths time frame.

Why spend the same amount of money to get lesser results?

We welcome cheerleaders from other teams to join this program as well. If you are interested, pls drop an email directly to our gymnastics OIC isaac: isaacwithchrist@hotmail.com

PS: Being able to tumble will give more value add to you and your team. If you have commited yourself to a certain skill, do it! Else you will end up giving all sorts of excuese and nothing will ever materialise!
