Social Media has evolved to such an extend that information can no longer be restricted.
In the past, the fear of being irrelevant has caused some people to hold back information on purpose. Some may even go to the extend of spreading false information to keep themselves relevant to their comfort zone. Such a move, unfortunately, hampers the growth of our Sport.
Today, nobody can stop anybody from sending and receiving emails. Nobody can stop you from finding out more information. Nobody can be the sole source of liaison and hope to benefit by keeping information execlusive. The more you try to conceal and restrict information flow, the more your plan will backfire. Ochi has discussed about how the Kung-fu master theory will eventually affect the culprit for example. What goes around, will come around.
Thus, instead of being resistant to changes we cannot control, we must try to accept that change is truly the only constant. You may be right 5 years ago but if you do not change your modus operandi, you will be obliterated by the power of Social Media.
