Hi cards!

This post consists of some of my thoughts. Maybe you guys are not interested, BUT, I STILL WANT TO SHARE! HAHAHAHAHA! You can choose not to read though cus I think it'll be quite draggy!

As I move on to this final lap of my cheerleading life, I can’t help but to think of what happened in the past. From the very first day I came into wildcards till now.

I really appreciate the coaches for giving me the chance to be part of this team. Seriously, I never pictured myself cheering with the most awesome team in Singapore. My very first training with Wildcards was a disaster. I had to correct all my basics and do elevator pop twists. As you can see, my twisting sucks. Naturally, I got scolded! At that time I was like "Shit la. I'm so lousy compared to the rest. I shouldn't even be here." I wanted to give up. I can still clearly rmb, vincent was the one who taught me elevator pop double when chaang was barking at me from the side. LIKE LITERALLY BARKING-.- But to the 3 coaches, thank you for not giving up on me!

SKM was my first competition with wildcards. I cherished that competition alot because I know Regine gave up her position to me so that I could advance in this sport. I am what I am today because of her. Because of SKM, I improved leaps and bounds cus I got to do big stunts and omg, you won’t want to do partner stunts with lee chaangru in a routine.

After some time, I blended into the team, got close to the flyers and I’m grateful for that. At times when my stunts do not hit, I’ve got my flyers, who understand how I feel. Most of the time, what kept me going on were you girls. Thank you so much for consoling me and Nellie, I will never forget how you broke the toilet door lock :)

You know, I don’t expect to do many amazing stunts in the routine. When I was first asked to do a layout in last year’s routine, I was shocked. Me? A layout? I didn’t believe I could do it, but I did. And this year, a layout full. MY GOD. I’m not a gymnast and yet I get to do big baskets. That was more than I can ask for! My initial goal was to hit a btoss backtuck and retire! Thank you my bases, for always fighting my stunts. Sorry for injuring you guys!

In this season, I was appointed the Team Captain. Actually, I am a useless team captain. I didn’t do anything at all! So, a big hug to the rest of the committee members for taking on my sai gang! And sorry team, that I did not live up to the expectations of a leader. I’m sure Ochi will do a good job in bringing you guys to greater heights the next season! J

I just want to say, my journey in cards is a fruitful and sweet one. During these two years, I grew stronger, both physically and mentally. Thank you to all for being part of my wonderful memories. I will rmb you guys forever! <3.>Let’s all strive hard for the final lap! I know we can do it. I always have faith in us. Up till now, when I watch the video of last year’s routine, I still get goosebumps. I want to feel the same way again this year. And I know I will. Jiayou cards! :D

P.S Congrats! You are at the end of this naggy post! Thanks for reading!
