With my competitive cheerleading career coming to an end after 6 years of cheering, 5 competitions and winning SKM 2009 together with 2 glorious National Championship titles in 2010 and 2011, I want to thank some important people that made it possible for me to come this far :) I've been writing this for 5 days because I really want to get this right so I'm sorry if it's too long for your reading pleasure haha. And I'm also sorry if there're any gross spelling or wording errors and that the paragraphs get shorter and shorter towards the end because I'm juggling my school projects while writing this :| So here goes:
LEE CHAANG RU -.-
Being my 1st coach back in SAJC, you were already creating a reputation wherever you go (cursing/swearing/hitting/slapping/shouting/slutting) but you were the first coach I've ever held so much respect for. My passion for cheer was ignited by you because you showed me that at being 1.68m, it was possible to be a flyer. You gave me something that no one would - the opportunity. No one in their right mind would have taken me into their team or even considered me to be a flyer. I remember you telling me from the first day in cheer that being super tall meant my stunts needed to be perfect with no room for errors. That didn't intimidate me but instead forced me keep reminding myself that that was the only thing I had to do to stay as a flyer. Taking those "words of wisdom", I continued on with Spectrum & finally to Wildcards for the best 3 years of my life. In Wildcards, you continued to inspire me as one of the most efficient coaches in Singapore and taught me that it's NOT okay to wallow in self-pity but to pick yourself up fast whenever you fall. This was best exemplified when I slipped and fell on concrete ground during my Japan trip but I found myself standing up immediately and instinctively. No one could have drilled that mindset in us better than you :) So after approximately 6 years (wtf so long alr) of being your "student", I'm so happy I managed to learn how to do a btoss layout and a pike open (I'm superrrrrr happy to be able to hit it nicely just once :D:D:D:D:D) which were the stunts i wanted to learn before I retired. My flexibility didn't improve much -.- but still I was honoured to be part of a champion team that you are so proud of. A team that made the impossible, possible :)
TAN KAHAU
You were my first partner stunt base in Wildcards and you've never ever made me feel insecure or even lousy when I stunted with you. You invested so much into our partnership and you were so patient with me. You've never ever scolded me nor did you blame me when our stunts failed to hit. You've never given up on me especially after failing our toss to hands at SKM where we hit our liberty immediately after! I'm so sorry that Chaang assigned me to you because I know its not easy to just toss, not to mention stunt, with the tallest flyer in Singapore! Nonetheless, I was so proud of you when your skills improved tremendously and I was secretly happy when you get worried when I was injured because no one else was as concerned as you. Your continual encouragement and support during partner stunts made me believe and trust you as my partner and also in myself as a competent flyer. It was disappointing knowing that you wanted to sign on to the Navy which meant you leaving Wildcards. But I believe it was important that you knew what you wanted in life. I believe Wildcards has shaped you in every way possible as you have influenced me as a flyer and want to thank you for that. Keep loving Jasmine because she really loves you and I have faith that your relationship and love for each other will continue to blossom despite you having to spend so much time away from her. I hope that when you get to book out, you'll still get to come back to Wildcards and keep to your promise of wanting to be the first base to do a single heelstretch with me! :D
ANG HUI SHAN ♥
You're my Megan, my Lover, my mirror for pyramids (don't cheat on me with Jaslyn anymore please), my listening ear, my msn-bitching partner and most importantly my best and longest friend in Wildcards :) You're the only flyer that has been with me since the first day of Wildcards where we barely had 10 people. You're the ONLY person that knows how tall flyers feel and I really want to thank you for always listening when I'm complaining/bitching/ranting or being there for me when I'm crying/shouting/sobbing. You're the only flyer that will understand the limited chances we get to fly and how desperate and crazy hardworking we need to be in order to maintain our techniques. You're one flyer that I admire the most because you started from nothing in Wildcards to become an idol for many :) Your perseverance and undying determination have always inspired me to continue fighting and to not give up easily when things don't go my way. I also love how we can have endless conversations on MSN and how we always have something to talk about every single time. I love you so much (but sorry still less than Zhehan hehe) and I'm really really glad you're in Wildcards together with me because you made my life in Wildcards complete :) And remember that even though you have non-existent eyes, I'm always on your side!!
GARY CHAN FAT ASS
Without you, I wouldn't be able to know what it's like to do a toss extension. Without you, I wouldn't be able to know what a toss cupie feels like. Without you, I wouldn't have improved in partner stunts so quickly and learnt how to do a full up! You've played a crucial role in my cheerleading life as you are one of the 3 bases who have made me feel so happy doing a toss cupie (other than Eric & Wei Han) I want to thank you for always choosing me when we're assigned to do cupies/toss extensions and my heart is always filled with gratitude because no one else will choose to stunt with me especially with all the couples in our team. I've never told you that but I really do appreciate being chosen by you and I always want to give you a hug for doing something as simple as that :) You've always believed in my ability and never gave up on me, especially when I was learning how to perfect my layout for Nationals last year. I have always LOVED doing basket tosses with you (especially with Harry or Jen-BabyChan) because you never fail to send me up DAMN HIGH without much effort and like I've mentioned before, you're the base that I feel safest stunting with because you will always be there to catch me when I fall. I trust you the most as you can tell from our OMG performance where I jumped up, trusting you to literally fly to where I was and follow through my jump with your toss :) I am forever amazed at your stunting abilities and your relentless pursuit of excellence in every single stunt you do. Even though you always call me flat/insult me, I will always forgive you because you will always say I'm pretty :) Despite your slutting/cursing/acting cute, I am extremely honoured to have met, stunted and trained with the BEST base in Singapore. I also want to let you know that even though I always call you fat, please know that I call you that with affection and I hope you'll find love to fill up that huge heart of yours sometime soon :)
XINGWEI
I never had the opportunity to thank you for coming down to Wildcards so frequently in the first year and I want to thank you so much for helping me improve my partner stunting ability. You were the one that taught me how to do a cupie and you were the first base that took my first cupie and I'm so grateful to you for that :) You were always so patient and kind with us, which was a huge contrast to Chaang -.- With your experience and your advanced skills, I was able to learn stunts in a shorter period of time which was crucial to "staying alive" in Wildcards haha. I have always admired you as one of Singapore's best bases and likewise, Xue Wei as one of Singapore's best flyer. Please do not let this year's competition dampen your spirit and love for cheerleading (especially partner stunts) because in my heart, you're always Number 1. Your selflessness and devotion to improving the future generations of cheerleaders make Wildcards extremely lucky to have you as our instructor :) And I'm still waiting for you to be the 4th base who can do a toss cupie with me! :D
JASLYN LOW ♥
I was so inspired by you the first time I saw you at your SKM with your sick abs haha I thought you were damn 'pro' cos of your abs. BUT as it turned out, you're a retarded girl who has a crazy obsession over food -.- I will never ever forget the times when you raided my fridges every time you're at my house and how you always say you want to "try" someone else's food when you just want to finish it up -.- What happened to the times when you and Hui Ting ate apples for dinner?! Okay, Im joking! I like you just the way you are because you're healthy and I love you because you're Jaslyn :) I want to thank you for being my team mate for 3 years and I'm so lucky to have you in Wildcards. Apart from HuiShan, you were always there for me whenever I want to complain/bitch/rant. Being 1/3 of the PowerPuff Girls, you never ever fail to make me laugh and smile every time. We've seen each other at our most vulnerable moments and I'm glad I was there to help you through those times :) Wildcards wouldn't have been the same without you and ignore everyone who calls you fat because in my eyes, you'll always be a happy, bubbly, 6-abs, SKINNY, PowerPuff girl :D I love you so much Jaslyn, don't know what I'll do without you. :)
ZHI LIANG
You're my 2nd coach and as compared to Chaang, you're a huge contrast to him with your TLC methods. You were always consistently patient with us and offer us valuable stunting advice. I always feel extremely safe stunting with you and I'm sorry if Wildcards ever take you for granted. Being the nice guy, it meant that people will treat you more as a team mate rather than a Coach and also as a friend rather than an authoritative figure. You were always the one with sick muscles but slow mind, but it's okay because at least you're handsome (bet you'll smile at this) and buff! :D My abs also surfaced for the first time thanks to your 10x10 PT :D Do continue to be this awesome and insanely versatile base (you're literally a 3-in-1 shoulderstand-pitcher-tosser), TLC coach and also Wildcard's best slut. :) Wildcards wouldn't have survived without you and please don't ever give up cheering or coaching Wildcards because Wildcards is where you belong and Wildcards need you :) Thank you for being one of the rare few coaches that I look up to and I really mean what I said to you when I was crying like some mad girl after our ASU routine at Nationals 2011!
VINCENT FOK ♥
I really didn't like you in the first year of Wildcards because you always go mad crazy and unmerciful whenever you stretch me :( I rmbr I would be crying and bawling thinking you're an extremely sadistic person and I always hate it when I end up with charcoal-black patches all over my inner thighs. But out of all the coaches, I love you the most because you're the bitchiest and you're my Mummy. :) You never fail to understand how flyers feel and I was so glad you exposed me to the performance aspect of cheerleading (since Chaang is all about stunts and ZhiLiang can't even dance to save himself -.-). I never got around to thank you for the times where you stood up for me, allowing me opportunities to try out new stunts. I thought you were mad when you told me to do a low-high liberty to heelstretch with you and that was just one of the many stunts you believed I could do. You didn't believe in any boundaries or limitations when it comes to cheerleading, especially when it comes to my height. Your belief in me always pushed me to fight harder and to stop doubting in myself, even when others do. Your dedication to Wildcards grew over the years and I was happy there was some other team (besides MagnumForce) that you can call Home. The Wildcards' flyers wouldn't have been able to look pretty/hot without your creativity and perfectionism. You single-handedly designed our sexy uniforms and handsome jackets and we can never thank you enough for that. You will always be the most handsome and hot coach I ever had and I also mean what I said when I hugged you and cried to you after Nationals 2011 :) I love you so much Binsonnnn Mummyyy ♥

I know you both will be surprised to see your names here but I owe my layout to you both :) Without you both, I wouldn't have gotten the chance to learn how to do a layout since I wasn't assigned to learn it in the first place. If both of you didn't decide to come down forthat training, I would have missed out on a HUGE opportunity to further improve my basket toss elements. Your encouragement and guidance made me hit my layout on my 2nd try and it's because of that I was able to move on and learnt how to do a pike open! No one would have given a tall flyer the chance to learn such advanced basket toss elements and I really owe my dream basket tosses to you both. Thank you both SO SO SO MUCH and you both should get married soon and XP, you should propose to Yirong with a HUGE ring that's the size of her fist :)
KEN LIM
Thank you for being my 2nd partner after Ka Hau and I'm extremely lucky to have you as my partner because you've never ever scolded or blamed me. I know it's not easy stunting with such a tall flyer like me and I applaud your bravery in accepting me as your partner stunt flyer for 2 years haha. Thank you for not giving up on me when my low-high was very screwed up and I owe it to you for wanting to keep stunting till we get it. You were also the only person that has been consistently giving me morning calls before EVERY training and thank you for not complaining. I hope you can continue staying in Wildcards for few more years so that you can impart your SBSS skills to the future generation. Don't be so sad when 2011/2012's season starts because I'm not leaving Wildcards anytime soon and you'll still get to see me :D Love Shermeeny forever and treat her well okay! You're my Wildcards' BFF and my fellow pontian-lover! You're by far the most driven and talented base I've ever met given how with only approximately 6 months of being in cheerleading, you managed to sub YanHeng's role in Nationals in just 2 days when he was injured. I'm still in awe at your potential and I foresee you being as driven and passionate as Ochi! Thank you for being my listening ear whenever I want to bitch/complain and always being there for me. It has always been very easy to talk to you about anything and I also loved that you and Gary bought me pretty macaroons for my 21st birthday. Thank you for being such a wonderful team mate especially during OMG and being a bundle of fun together with Winston. Stop calling me flat because we all know I'm not :) and don't ever let your cheer passion die. AND YOU KNOW I'M PRETTY EVERYDAY! :D

You will always be my bundle of joy in Wildcards together with Hann Bin because you always have something funny to say for everything. Thank you for always being so accommodating and sweet even though you always link me to tissue papers -.- You never fail to brighten my day or lift up my mood whenever I'm down during trainings and you always know what to say :) I'm so lucky to have you as my team mate and also competed with you in this year's Nationals. I love our awesome Tarzan and I want to thank you for being the strongest shoulderstand base I can ever ask for because I know it's not easy to be the middle shoulderstand for our final pyramid! I will always remember our heart-to-heart-talk in the toilet together with Hui Shan during our first Wildcards camp. Despite it being very smelly and having random interruptions of people who wanted to pee, I felt that I got to know you more. I'm so happy we shared secrets, bf/gf stories and also gossips and I'm so glad we did it. :) You're the most talented flyer I know and it would be such a waste to see you stop cheering! I want to thank you for being the funniest team mate cos you always crack me up with your random credit card/towel dances and weird noises -.- You're also one the flyers that I can talk/bitch to, share secrets and do stupid things with hehe. You're the best 'twisting' top I've ever met and even though you have very slippery legs, I've always loved catching you :D You and Isaac are perfect for each other because you both are ridiculously retarded so don't have too many silent wars okay? And try not to open your legs too much please -.-
ISAAC CHEN
I will always rmbr your endless encouragement and guidance especially during first year of Wildcards where you and Kahau were assigned to do group stunts with me. You and Kahau were the best bases I could ever asked for as our group was the first and earliest group that managed to hit our stunts consistently until I began to doubt myself. The image of you flying and diving to save me when I freaked out on my front tuck, has been etched in my mind since that day. You literally saved my life and I thank you so much for that. You didn't give up on me and didn't scold me whenever my stunts couldn't hit. Your support contributed to regaining my confidence in my group stunts and also helped me remember my love and passion for the sport. Even though you always call me flat/LCD flat screen, you'll always remain as one of the bases I look up to and respect. I value your guidance and advice more than other bases because you have the innate ability to be able to "see" stunts. I also think that your low-high is the best out of all the bases and you'll definitely remain as the funniest guy in Wildcards. Please stop stealing Zhe Han away from me or flirting with him because I think he loves you more than me :(

I remember first meeting you at Spectrum's training and you were the tallest, biggest and SWEATIEST (is there such a word? haha) person I've ever seen in my life. You also had this crazy strong handgrip on my legs while just doing a chair -.- Butttttt it's okay because you're the best singing companion for KBox, the biggest hands and best gladiator support & basket toss backspot anyone can have :) You're also the wittiest person I've ever met and thank you for helping Ken and me support our transfer to gladiator for Nationals. Without you, I bet we would have collapsed more times than we can count :/ Your commitment to cheerleading never ceases to amaze me and I'm so happy knowing you're in Wildcards because you will definitely be one of the better seniors that the juniors can look up to :) I'm also glad I got to know you more through working at IRAS and training for OMG together :) Always remember to jump and stop wearing thin white shirts because I can always see your nipples when you sweat (which happens quite often) -.-
YANHENG
You're one of the rare few people who can almost toss extension me! :D You're also easily one of the more comfortable bases I can work with given your speed and I want to thank you for choosing me to be your partner when we were told to switch partners. My low-high and cupies improved because of you and you're the most hardworking base I know :) Do continue to cheer for Wildcards because I'm quite sure this year's Nationals have proved your decision to join us :D Thank you for also not allowing any setbacks to pull you down as I know you fought hard for your spot at Nationals. Don't forget about us when you leave for exchange okay!

I still remember when I said in the future we'll be lying next to each other on hospital beds because we'll be so injured from cheer that our bodies give up on us! Thank you for being such an awesome team mate and if I had to knock down that toilet door just to get to you, I would do it all over again. First and foremost, Amy, I want to apologize, but Jen accidentally msged me, calling me 'Baby' which explains why he has 2 'Baby's now hehe! You're the most silly, slow, retarded frog I know. Even though you call yourself a princess -.- I'm so happy you found your prince! I want to thank you for being one of the flyers I look up to in terms of ability, but I guess it comes at a price because you're actually quite stupid haha. You set the benchmark of having one of the prettiest layouts when you came into Wildcards and I must admit that you inspired me to perfect mine till it was like yours (it still isn't anyway) I know you have made alot of sacrifices for Wildcards and I want to thank you for that and I hope that you won't leave Wildcards that soon. With Ka Hau signed on to the army, I know Wildcards can be another avenue for you to channel your love and we will also help you and be beside you whenever you feel lonely. I know it's hard to have a boyfriend who leaves you for a long time, but I believe this has matured you (which means you're not that stupid anymore haha) I've always been trying to smack your boobs, but do know that I do it out of fun :) and not out of jealousy because there's really nothing there! I hope to continue seeing you in Wildcards, setting an extraordinary example and being the best senior to our future generations.

Beebeebeebee, you're the most driven, hardworking, pro and loyal flyer I know. Your layout full is the nicest in Singapore and you've always offered me valuable advice. You're also always receptive to suggestions and improvements and I think that's one of the best qualities to have in a cheerleader. Your loyalty to Alpha amazes me and I'm superrrr fascinated by the way you're so protective and supportive of them. I'm also impressed by your twisting skills and I believe you're the only flyer who have done a 540 2-2-1 in Singapore and I'm so honoured to be your midtier :D You and NaiNai are the best for each other so hurry get married and remember to save me a nice seat for your wedding okay! :)

You're the best and most versatile base and you're more versatile than 3-in-1 Zhi Liang because of your insane tumbling skills! Thank you for always offering valuable advice especially when it comes to stunts and also being the nicest base to do partner stunts with. You're extremely humble and you never ever blame flyers. Don't sign on to army okay! And stop letting out killer farts or even fart for that matter because they're not exactly very nice smelling! -.-

It was such a shame that you broke your leg before preparation for Nationals because there's so much potential in you that has yet to be unleashed! You're the most gentlemanly and sweetest base in Wildcards! Hurry recover so you can join Nationals next year okay! Thank you for also tolerating all of our bitchiness and gossiping on Whatsapp and also being the nicest when you offer to fetch us! You're soo pretty fellii and thank you for being such a wonderful video editer for Wildcards' 2011's Journey to Nationals. Your selflessness is admirable and I hope you'll improve leaps and bounds under our guidance! :D i love that you're so easy to talk to and have fun with! Stop thinking you're heavy because weight is never an issue and technique trumps weight. Fight hard for your spot next year and I'm so going to capture your crying faces for Nationals next year!! :)

You have the prettiest scorpion and the craziest flexibility and I'm so envious of that. Now that Chaang is stepping down and he won't be breathing down your neck anymore, you can use this opportunity to improve more so that you can be in Team Category next year okay! :) Thank you for being such a wonderful team mate, especially to Perle where you were so selfless in standing up for her. Wildcards need more people like you and please stay in Wildcards because you're also the cutest tadpole to Jasmine the frog!

I love that you're a sushi lover like me and I really see alot of potential in you :) Please keep improving and don't ever doubt yourself because I believe you'll be the best midtier someday. Don't listen to the bases when they call you fat cos you're far from that and I'm looking forward to see you do wonderful things in Nationals 2012!Thank you so much for helping us video our journey to Nationals and don't worry I'm starting on yours for next year :)

You're the lightest top I know and remember to use that to your advantage okay! Don't ever doubt your abilities and let yourself get affected by what others say. It's always important to believe in yourself and in what you can do. Thank you for being my occasional train ride home partner and eat more please haha! I'll be capturing all your unglam moments on camera for next year's Journey to Nationals :)
DOUGLAS LIM & IVY SOH ♥
I know you both are constantly worried that I might get injured or die halfway during trainings and you're persistently adamant about safety and how injuries will affect my life in the future. You've never ever stopped me from going for trainings even though you both were against me joining cheerleading. Thank you for being there for me and bringing me to sinsehs whenever I have injuries and also rubbing ointment on all my bruises while sighing to yourselves. I know I've made promises that it's going to be my last year and this time it's really my last competitive year. Thank you for being such wonderful parents and also thank you mum for being at every single competition :)

You are my pillar of support and my best confidante. You've been the most supportive and encouraging boyfriend I can ask for. Thank you for staying by my side, listening to my sob stories and also wiping my tears away every time I cry. You've never ever complaint about my endless commitment to cheerleading and you've never ever made me choose between you or cheer. Thank you for fetching me back from trainings sometimes and smothering me with care and concern whenever I'm injured. You've also listened to my endless bitchings and complaints and I'm so proud that you actually know some of the cheerleading terms. I know it's difficult to sit through cheerleading competitions especially when you're not even remotely interested in cheerleading, and I want to thank you for being at every single competition I've competed in. You've always had the nicest things to say after every competition and I always love hearing them. I love you so much and thank you for being an integral part of my cheerleading life. I don't know what I'll do without you :) ♥
