Recently my team mate Chan Ming Wei Gary has been losing alot of weight and is achieving a healthier physique. It sort of reminded me of my own experience losing weight.
First of all, I must congratulate Gary and say that his weight loss has truly been inspirational because from first hand experience, weight loss is by no means an easy feat. It is an achievable task yet it comes with effort and discipline. However, having said that, to achieve almost anything in life, the same rule applies.
The first step is to identify your goals and the next step is to plan how to achieve it. Yet, the most important step is putting your plan into action and rewarding yourself as you go about achieving one milestone after another.
Which goes to my main point. i'll be returning to the team soon and i cant wait =) fresh and all. lets all strive to reach a level of fitness where we are all competition ready! Its just a few extra hours in the gym thats all!
Method:
First of all, i run 3 days a week, running 4km at a time
Secondly, doing weights like bench press, dead lifts etc 3 times a week.
I rest a day on sunday
Diet:
Breakfast: Cereals and bread
Lunch: Chicken Breast or steam fish with vegetables
Dinner: Strictly no carbo, no rice etc
No snacks in between
Make sure to have your multivitamin pills too
