Wildcards went to Kukup on the 21st and 22nd of June for our annual bonding session. This trip was without a doubt full of fun, laughter and joy. The 2D1N trip sure went by fast as everyone had so much fun bonding with each other and getting to know each other better.
After a 3 hour bus ride, we reached the resort. The walk in sure was long to our apartment. Free and easy till lunch time! View from our apartment!
Lunch time came and everyone was so hungry that we rushed down to eat our lunch. Lunch was so good that we finished everything.
After lunch, we went our to the local mama shop to fill up on some pop pop explosives and also chill by the roadside dessert store, while some went to find the infamous coconut jelly!
Introducing the Wildbike gang!!! All of us rented an electric bike and took off to explore Kukup and its many sights and sounds.
It was about tea time when we ended our adventure as most of the bike battery are nearly depleted. So most of us headed back to the apartment for some k session, freshen up, sleep or mahjong!
Suddenly, we realised that it was evening and that the view of the sunset was so magnificent! We all took some time to relax and bask in the evening sun.
Afterwards, we went back down for the BBQ dinner! *did not took any photos here as cameraman is too hungry*
Being bloated from dinner, some of us went back up to chill, play mahjong and card games, the rest of us went on to sing k and dance all around while we waited for our fireworks to be set up for us. Once it was set up and all ready, we were like little kids preparing our camera for the final show of the night. It was so pretty and beautiful! There were also the kong ming lantern too where we all wrote our wishes!
After the fantastic show, off we went again for our second adventure on the bike, but this time, in the dark! Everyone of us crashed as soon as we headed back to the resort.
Burned out from the first day, most of us did not managed to wake up in time to enjoy much of the last day in Kukup. Nonetheless we did have lunch together and had another round of the wonderful coconut jelly. We also did one last bike trip to a nearby super mart to stock up on Malaysian snacks and treats.
That pretty much sums up our two days in Kukup, for those that did not managed to join us this year, make sure to make yourself available for the trip next year, and for those who want to have fun with the Wildcards, be sure to join our big family!
