Wildcards X NTU Aces Exchange

Hello Everyone!!

          It was a historic moment on 23rd August 2014 as Wildcards and NTU Aces had our very first ever cheer exchange! The exchange was held at NTU Sports and Recreation Center and the exchange commenced with introductions followed by a game of Aces's version of captains ball!

          After the bonding game, we started off with partner stretching where we paired up with members from Aces. We then continued with gymnastics, starting off with basic drills. After that, those who were able to carry on with tumbling 2 passes or more continued on the mats whereas the rest practiced their standing tumbling.

          We carried on with pyramids after finishing with gymnastics since we wanted to learn proper techniques to round-off rewind pyramids from NTU Aces. Our friends from Aces gave us many important pointers in order for us to execute the skill properly and we are very thankful for all the tips given! Our bases and flyers even got the chance to pair up with members from Aces in order to get the feel of catching/sending the pyramid!

          Our last segment for the day was but of course, partner stunts! Our coach Winston gave pointers on how to properly execute a good toss before we were broken up into groups to carry on stunting! However, after the partner stunting session, our exchange with NTU Aces ended and we felt that the time went by too quickly! And what is an exchange without the exchanging of team T-shirts? ;D
