It has been over a week since cheerleading season 2018/2019 ended. Hope that all the cheerleaders, both local athletes and overseas athletes are well rested and ready to start this new season with much passion and drive!
It was a hectic two-day event on 31st March and 1st April at D'Marquee and we would like to congratulate all the teams and athletes who had participated in the recent cheerleading competition(s), CAS National Cheerleading Championships and also Asia Cheerleading Invitational Championships 2018! We were truly honoured to have been able to compete alongside many outstanding teams!
We from Wildcards feel truly blessed and humbled to have come in First place in the recent ACIC competition and would like to dedicate our win to all the competing members, non-competing members, alumni whom without them, we would not have gotten to where we are today! Also, we would like to thank NUS Alpha Verve, and everyone who has helped us throughout the season, and not forgetting the supporters that roared our cheer while we were on the blue mats!
Here are the placings for both CASNCC and ACIC 2018:-
CASNCC Tertiary Coed Premier:
- 1st Place : NUS Alpha Verve
- 1st Runner-Up : KR Steppers
- 2nd Runner-Up : NTU Aces
CASNCC Open Coed Premier:
- 1st Place : NOVA All-Stars
- 1st Runner-Up: NUS Alpha Verve
- 2nd Runner-Up: KR Steppers
5th Asia Cheerleading Invitational Championships:
- 1st Place : Wildcards Cheerleading Team
- 1st Runner-Up: NOVA All-Stars
- 2nd Runner-Up: KR Steppers
