James, started cheering during his polytechnic days in 1996. Having trained by American cheerleaders and subsequently led Magnum Force to their 5-time Nationals victory, James is a familiar figure in the cheer fraternity.
In 2009, James headed the panel of judges for the National Cheerleading Cheerobics, and he was part of the 2005 Manila SEA Games cheering contingent.
After obtaining his coaching certification from the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisories (AACCA) in 2005, Chaang has never looked back. The former NTU ACES (2004-2006) and Team Spectrum (2006-2008) cheerleader has since coached many teams including Singapore Management University (2006), NTU hall 13 (2005-2008) and was involved in the coaching and inception of Team Spectrum (2006), St. Andrews JC (2006), Pioneer JC (2007-2008) & Victoria JC (2007)
.Awards under Chaang include Champions for National Cheerobics 2007 group category (Team Spectrum), Best choreography for SKM 2007 (SAJC) as well as 1st Runner up for group and Best New Comer Team for National Cheerobics 2008 (Team Spectrum).

Mr. Chan Tze Jen (23), Head Coach
Ngee Ann Magnum Force 2006-2009
Having trained with Top Gun Allstars(USA) and Bangkok University(Thailand), Chan is no doubt a valuable asset. Not only has he represented Ngee Ann in local competitions, he has also competed in the 2nd Cheerleading Asia International Open held in Tokyo, Japan in 2008. Given that he was appointed captain that year, Chan has priceless field experience and good foresight to offer not only as a leader, but also as a team player.

Biyi’s first encounter in cheerleading dated all the way back in 2001 during her secondary school sports meets where she choreographed and coached a simple routine for her peers. In present, she has been cheering for 5 years and took part in 6 national level competitions. Prior to that, she had 4 years of gymnastics experience and 6 years of dance experience. She has led NUS Alpha Verve for 3 years and coached NUS Engineering Faculty during the Rag and Flag for 2 years. She had also conducted cheerleading workshops for participants of UOB Annual retreat (2008), Meridian JC’s sports meets (2008 & 2009) and NUS Rag and Flag (2010). In addition, she has took part in many large scale performances, for example, Chingay, NDP, Channel U <> etc. She is AACCA and IFC (Class 1) certified.
