First post from me!
I happened to be in BKK to watch the Thailand-International Open 2009. It was not the moves that established teams like Japan or Taiwan which wowed me. It was this
A team consisting of deaf students took part in the very first edition of the TAIO. You can notice the conductor by the right hand corner of the vid. Because of their impairedment, they had to reply on visual. That did not stop them doing double base extensions, generally giving a neat performance.
So to all out there, lessons to be learnt:
1. Always be fortunate for what you have and for the people surrounding you
2. Never take anything for granted
3. Cheerleading do not have boundaries; go around with big hearts, not big egos
4. If you want something, you WILL get it. Its hard work, but it will be worth it, and NO ONE can take this hard work from you.
