Happy Birthday Joanna!
Joanna is a very special flyer.
I met her back in 2009 through my former coach Jesse. Back then, she was just an average flyer with nothing but bones. =P
Many of us know Joanna as the shy, quiet girl who sings to herself randomly and talks to her bf Ignatius with a language nobody could understand =.=
But a lot of us didn't know that she spent a lot of money on taxis just to be on time for practice on Saturdays. And the taxi fares she had to bear when she had to rush off to church after practice when we were nearing competition.
A lot of us didn't know that she was actually very scared to learn so many new and difficult techniques in such a short span of time.
A lot of us didn't know the difficulties she was facing when she decided to join us for Nationals this year.
Joanna is always this cheerful flyer who puts up a strong front because she didn't want anybody to worry.
As we continue with our journey, let us not forget all the contributions and sacrifices Joanna has made for this team. Wildcards would not be who we are today without her presence.
You will always be a Wildcard. And you will always be our friend.
