TEAM WILDCARDS 15/16
As expected, it was definitely not easy to take a proper team photo without some monkeys fooling around.. Well this explains why we have Orhlulu as our mascot hahaha.
The morning started off with everyone warming up their stunts and thereafter changing into our uniforms for rehearsal. In case you haven't realised, the showcase was a chance for us to have a simulation for Nationals! This was especially helpful to first-timers competing in Nationals like myself, Clinton and Bryan.
Alpha and us took turns to have our rehearsals. Our performance was scheduled at 1430, right after Alpha Verve, which began at 1400. The showcase started on time with Alpha's group stunts performance while we were warming up outside. As what Chaang and coaches have said, visualisation of stunts is very important!! |
Entering the hall to support Alpha before we performed! |
Alpha Verve finally started their performance!
Woahhh look at the flyers' BRIGHT CHEER SMILES!! |
Absolutely love their final pyramid!! |
Alpha displayed such strong tenacity and determination and put up an amazingly stunning performance. Good Job Alpha Verve!
U..P..C..C..LETS GO WILDCARDS!!!!! |
Next up, it's finally our time on the mats!!
Flawless execution of elements during baskets by our fearless flyers and strong bases |
Alumni selfies when waiting for the showcase to start. Thank you for coming down early to support us! |
We would like to take this chance to thank our alumni and supporters from family, friends and Alpha for coming down today for our showcase. To all who have missed the showcase, fret not! Please come down and support us on Nationals on 3rd April 2016! Wildcards would be performing at an earlier timing compared to past years, so do come early to show your support. :)
To the Competing cards members:
We have come a very long way. Think of all the trainings that we had, spending so much time and effort to hit our stunts and perfect it. This journey hasn't been easy but let's finish this together as a team. JIAYOU TEAM WILDCARDS!!!
