This year, it was held in cosy apartment, The Modules, located on the streets of Joo Chiat Road. It's simple setting and homely nature definitely made it feel like home. How appropriate, considering that on Founders' day, we are surrounded by our second family.
First entering the apartment, members were warmly greeted by Chaang, along with a taste of his very expensive whiskey.
But of course, that would mean that Chaang was the winner of the early bird prize!! He was joined by Kimberly, one of our newest members, who had also won herself a prize!
Special thanks to Katapult for graciously sponsoring an amazing gift for our early birds!
Other members and alumni also came down early to help with the setup and preparation of the event.
Here is Joel and Taufiq, helping us test the beds to make sure that it's comfortable enough for everyone!
And here is Nigel, our strongman helping us shift the furniture to make more space!
What would we ever do without them!
Our early comers were able to sit back on the couch and enjoy a good movie.
Our late comers, like Darren and Zhao Xuan, on the other hand, were locked out in the cold.
Just kidding! We let them in............

As more and more people started filling the room, it became evident that everyone was hungry and couldn't wait to get their hands on food!! Thankfully, stacks and stacks of pizza came just in time to feed our hungry beasts!
After our members were happily stocked up on food, everyone was ready to mingle and take nice photos together!

As the night went by, it was finally time for our member initiation. The Wild Cup.

Young and mischievous Jun Zhi also survived the Wild Cup! What happened minutes after will remain a mystery..

As the night slowly came to an end, Chaang gave us speech about how Founders' Day originated, as well as a promise, that the next Founders' Day will be held at his new place! All the best to your moving in and we hope to be at your house warming party soon!!
What a great night it was!
Thank you to the committee for tirelessly planning such a successful event! The location and food was amazing!
Thank you Alumni as well as Chaang for taking the time to come down! It wouldn't have been as much fun without all of you. It is times like these that we are reminded to be appreciative of the Alumni, for their efforts paved the stepping stones in which we walk on today.
And thank you everyone for bringing smiles, warm laughter and being family. Let's play hard, and train hard!
