WILDCARDS XMAS PARTAYEEE 2016

Monday, December 26, 2016

Ahhh it's that time of the year again! The festive season with beautiful lights and jolly moods everywhere! Of course, Wildcards took a break from training joined in with our very own mini celebration on the 23rd Dec! Big thanks to Legend Rachel who hosted Wildcards for Christmas this year! It takes a true legend to be able to host the beasts!!
Here are some pictures of the place of the preparation of the Feast for the Beasts.

When you can't afford a Christmas Tree, you make one! You might think that this tree lacks a star at the top... if you ever wonder where the star is, just look in the mirror!

Special Behind-the-scenes picture! Look at Alson putting his height to good use! Also Jumzhi putting his spotting skills to good use too! Perks of having Cheerleaders during the preparation!

Some decorations and our own guess the number of Jelly bean Challenge! The winner is Nigel Sim who came the closest to the correct number of 171! Looks like his good estimation in stunts can also be transferred to counting Jellybeans... And he won all the Jellybeans as the prize! All 171 of it haha.

Beautiful!

That look when you cannot contain your elation when it comes to food. Actually no. That is her default face I am sorry guys.

The chefs for the night!! Preparing Turkey!!

There was lotsa food prepared that night! Spaghetti, Korean Spicy Noodles, Ham, Turkey, Eggs, Ribs, Chicken, Sausages... We had to had sufficient food to feed the Beasts! Initially during the planning phase, we thought we have enough food... but after Zhaoxuan said he was coming... HAD TO BUY MORE FOOD.

This is Zhaoxuan! Look at how angry he is at the turkey leg for being so small!

We also had many fun activities during the night! Lucky draw, prize presentations, and other games! Here are some of our lucky draw winners! The lucky draw prizes was presented by the Uncle of our team, Winston! With about 10 przies and 30 people, the chances of winning was quite high!

Vincent Lampy won a hairdryer to blow away his excuses for always being late!

Darren Tan won a fondue kit because paikia like to eat cheese and chocolate sometimes!

Muscleboy Junzhi won a popsicle maker to make his protein filled popsicles!

Darren Chia won Bacardi sponsored by Hannbin!

Alvin covering his MILLION DOLLAR SMILE After winning $20 voucher sponsored by Andrew!

Jasmine Tan won $30 voucher sponsored by Andrew! (Matching eyes in this picture)

CHEWLONG is the ultimate winner with $100 voucher sponsored by Chaang himself! Just in time to buy baby necessities!

Intermission: Dont worry about long breaks when the organiser gets ready for the next activity, as we have our very own BACKSEAT BOYZZZZZ. Also in the gang are Alson and JTJZ and Hafidz

During our gift exchange! Some were happy, some were crying, some were angry... all sorts of emotions was present! There was all sorts of prizes! From the usual cups and hats, to even extension cables and cough medicine! Let the pictures do the talking!

Rachel's shocked face after opening her gift..

Everyone excited to open up their gifts!

Everyone holding up their presents, and Carmen holding up the X sign because she does not live in the present but look to the future.

Poor Alson got only a note for gift exchange... luckily the person that gave the note was just kidding and gave his actual gift!

Look at their smiles of misery... after receiving condoms, extension cable, maggi, Pipagao, and salonpas... maybe they can start a mama shop!

Junzhi was the biggest winner after he received Hafidz $60 gift - a drone! Even after he was the one that gave the items for the mamashop... but oh well this is a season of giving!

Happy faces with their gifts!

As all good things come to an end, we ended off our night with our handsome and dashing founder, Chaang, giving us a speech on our way ahead as a team! He talked about life lessons, management lessons, as well as lessons on how to be a good person! And as usual, everyone in the team was all ears the moment he opened his mouth.

Chaang's confident demeanour when engaging the team. Don't yall think he reminds you of an iconic leader?

This is how I see Chaang every time he talks to me. King Leonidas from 300!

That concludes our Christmas celebration... hope everyone else had a blast for their Christmas as well! And remember, Christmas is not just about celebrating. It is a season of giving. So if you havent done so, it is never too late to give someone something this year! A simple thing as giving a compliment can go a long way. Merry Christmas everyone and stay merry!!

Check out our upcoming blogpost for some award winners!!
